Edition Foulard
Silk Scarves, 2016

For Edition Patrick Frey’s 30th anniversary editor Stephanie Rebonati has put together a limited collection of foulards with Swiss textile designer Lora Sommer. The six motifs – some loud, some discreet, some coquettish – are all unisex, classic and timeless, printed on rectangular scarves made of pure silk. A picture of a lion, a quote, a pair of gloves, a collage, a painting and a drawing – all the motifs are taken from books by Swiss artists and designers published by Edition Patrick Frey:

Andreas Dobler (Argovian Sun, 2002)
David Renggli (25% Painting, 2013)
David Weiss (Nine Books 1973–1979, 2014)
Flurina Rothenberger (I love to dress like I am coming from somewhere and I have a place to go, 2015)
Prill Vieceli Cremers (Money, 2015)
Walter Pfeiffer (Scrapbooks 1969–1985, 2012).

Edition Foulard scarves are printed by Mitloedi Textildruck AG, printers with a long-standing tradition in Glarus, Switzerland. The scarves are limited to 30 copies of each motif, inkjet-printed on 100% pure silk, 140 cm x 140 cm.
